Original 948cc motor with twin SU carburettors.

Engine Number KB3360, Commission Number Y6032, All numbers match for a 1960 build.
Known history :
The car was an exhibit for a number of years at private Queensland Auto Museum in Hampton QLD, owned by Roy Gorring. Full stock of museum was sold by auction in October 2016.
Purchased from the museum by a local of Toowoomba QLD who proceeded to re commission the car with tyres, brake work and new inertia reel seatbelts.
In March 2022 the car was sold via Shannons Auctions in QLD, purchaser in Tanunda SA .
In November 2023 purchased by current owner.
Current dark blue paint pre dates the time in museum, was originally light blue and white two tone.
Recent upgrades include:
- New distributor (NOS from UK)
- New fuel pump.
- Fitted refurbished Malpassi Filter King regulator/filter
- SU carburettors rebuilt with Superdry jet upgrades
- New radiator hoses.
- New clutch hydraulics, master and slave cylinders.
- New coil.
The car has had recent oil change and all filters are recent.
On club registration via Triumph Sports Owners Association of SA (TSOASA)
The car is easy to get in and out of, has floor shift, light clutch, reliable speedo, fun to drive.
It will comfortably keep up with modern suburban traffic and has performed well on a number of TSOASA club runs through the Adelaide Hills along with Bay to Birdwood last two years.
It is entered in Bay to Birdwood 2026.
